FAQ’s

How does the moving box rental process work?

You order online (or by phone), choosing the number and size of bins you need. The company delivers clean, assembled bins to your home a day or two before your move. You pack them, move, unpack, and leave the empty bins out.

What areas do you deliver to?

If you are moving “TO or FROM” anywhere within South Carloina we may be of service.

How long is the standard rental period?

Our rental period is two weeks/ 14 days. This give you ample time to pack, move and unpack before we come to pick up your bins.

What sizes are your moving bins?

Our bins are all standard at 27″X17″X12″

How many bins will I need for my home?

This depends entirely on your needs. We have many room packages to choose from which typically meets the needs for the size home you have.

Are the bins cleaned and sanitized between rentals?

YES- After each use we thoroughly clean and sanitize each bin before it is rented again.

Do you deliver the bins and pick them up after my move?

Yes, that’s the core of the service — drop-off before your move and pickup afterward, usually scheduled for your doorstep or lobby.

Can I extend my rental if my move takes longer than expected?

YES- Should you need extra time to move or unpack simply give us a call or send us an email and we will be glad to arrange a new pick up date.  Extentions are billed in one week intervals and are charged 50% the original package price.

Can I order additional boxes should I need more?

YES- Should you need additional bins simply call or email us and we will deliver the additional bins where you’d like as soon as possible. Please see Addtional Charges for extra or “Ala Carte” bins.  These will also fall under the original rental period.

Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?

Not usually- Our service allows for contactless delivery/pick up. However, in some instances, with prior notification, you may be required to be present. (Example: Parking situations, security or secured building, multiple stairs)

Are your plastic moving boxes better than cardboard boxes?

Advantages typically cited: sturdier (no collapsing or tearing), stackable, weatherproof, reusable/eco-friendly, faster to pack (no tape/assembly), and often more secure with attached lids. Cardboard’s advantage is usually lower upfront cost if you’re not renting.

Can the bins be stacked safely?

Yes — the bins are usually designed with interlocking lids specifically so they stack securely without shifting or crushing, unlike cardboard.

What happens if a bin is damaged or lost?

YES- Please see Terms of Service and Additional Costs relating to lost or damaged bins.

Do you offer moving dollies, labels, or other packing supplies?

YES- We do provide the use of hand trucks and offer bubble wrap. Many of our packages include these items FREE.  Please see Additional Costs if your package does not include these or if you’d like additional items.

Can I write on or use labels on my bins?

NO- Should you need to label your bin(s), PLEASE USE “ONLY” PAINTERS TAPE. Thank You!!
